Srinagar : Authorities imposed restrictions in several parts of Srinagar City for the second consecutive day on Sunday a day ahead of “Eidgah Chalo” called by Joint Residence Leadership on the eve of the death anniversaries of Mirwaiz Molvi Mohammad Farooq and Ab Gani Lone on Monday.
While as , the restrictions have crippled normal life in almost all the parts of Srinagar city.
Meanwhile, police and CRPF forces were deployed on roads in several areas of city including Nowhatta, forces barricades on all the entry and exit points to stop attempts of protests tomorrow on the death anniversaries of Mirwaiz Molvi Mohammad Farooq and Ab Gani Lone.
However, contingents of police and paramilitary CRPF arrived early Sunday morning in Rajouri Kadal and Nowhatta areas of old Srinagar city.
It’s worth to mention that , Mirwaiz Molvi Mohammad Farooq was killed in 1990 and Abdul Gani Lone was killed in 2002 when the 12th anniversary of Farooq was being commemorated at Eidgah in Srinagar.
