10 injured in Bijbehara grenade blast, Four referred to Srinagar Hospital

Anantnag: Ten civilians were injured in a grenade blast triggered by suspected militants at a Bijbehara Goriwan in south Kashmir area of Anantnag District on Wednesday,
suspected Militants hurled the grenade targeting a CRPF vehicle near the Goriwan Bijbehara of Anantnag District, but it missed the target and exploded on the road injuring 10 pedestrians among one women this afternoon, sources said.
However four of the injured civilians were reffered to Srinagar hospital for further treatment. sources added.
Police, Army and CRPF cordoned off the entire area immediately after the blast and a hunt has been launched to nab the militants involved in the incident, they said.
No militant outfit has, so far, claimed responsibility for the grenade attack.
However police updated a status on twitter about the attack and yet didn’t any briefing about the incident.
