Srinagar: Jaish-e-Mohammad militant outfit on Wednesday claimed responsibility for the grenade attack on Police Post in Lasipora area of Pulwama in south Kashmir.
“Cadres of JeM attacked police station with shells which exploded inside it at Lassipora. Immediately no reports about causality to enemy were received,” a spokesman of the militant organization told news agency GNS in a statement .

Meanwhile ,earlier, A police constable and his sister were injured after fired upon by militants at Katho Hallan area of Kellar in south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Wednesday evening.
sources said that the gunmen fired upon the SPO, Rayees Ahmad Lone son of Ghulam Hassan after barging inside his home at Katho Hallan village this evening.
In the incident, Lone along with his minor sister Urfi Jan suffered bullet wounds and were shifted to the nearby district hospital where from Lone was referred to Srinagar hospital in critical conditions, they said. His sister has suffered injuries in leg and her condition is stated to be stable.
